With the acquisition of the Customer Engagement Platform Snapview, we offer our customers an AI-based, seamlessly integrated and automated customer process. Further acquisitions are planned and serve strategic growth.

On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, we were pleased to announce the acquisition of Snapview. The company provides a video consulting solution for digital contract conclusions for banks, insurance companies and financial service companies. It is one of the most comprehensive and fully regulatory compliant solutions for industries such as banking and insurance which are subject to strict compliance.

Customer Experience Suite for seamless Customer Journeys

With the introduction of digital contract conclusion, we offer our customers a completely AI-based, seamlessly integrated and automated customer process with the Customer Experience Suite. “We aim to sustainably expand our already leading position in the insurance and banking sector in the DACH market and the ever-increasing functional range of our software. We are also focusing on the utilities/energy and retail industries. Our target customers are clearly large national and international companies. Jens Thuesen, a member of the BSI Board of Directors, comments as follows: “With this acquisition and others, we will implement our strategic ideas. The DACH market is the top priority for us next year and our plans already extend beyond it. We are also looking for other companies like Snapview that fit our needs. These are companies with high quality, innovative technologies and strong customer focus.”

About the acquisition

We acquire 100 percent of Snapview’s shares. Snapview will initially retain its legal form as a corporation and will be integrated into BSI in the medium term. Snapview’s Munich office will be combined with BSI’s German office in Munich.

Erik Boos, Snapview’s co-founder, also sees new opportunities emerging: “We have exceptional, large customers with complex sales processes that are already using our solution. Now, BSI’s size and experience open up entirely new opportunities to apply our joint expertise in customer management. We will be able to offer the entire process from customer acquisition to quoting to closing the sale virtually and beyond.”
