Organizing and conducting general meetings requires a great deal of effort and is resource intensive. In addition, the low voter turnout leads to weak legitimacy and representativeness. The lack of flexibility gives members limited options to cast or ensure their vote.

Invitation

Bank WIR sends written invitations for the general meeting to all members who can then register and confirm their attendance online.  

Reminder

A few weeks later, members who have not yet registered receive a reminder, ensuring an increased attendance rate. 

Casting the vote

On the day of the general meeting, members cast their votes electronically in a process that is easy and fast. Members who wish to cast a written vote can send their ballot in by mail or call the service center. These votes are entered into the system manually.  

Counting the vote

After the meeting, all electronic and written votes are counted in an automated process. The results are available quickly, therefore ensuring transparency.
