Germany

It is important to us that you get rest and relaxation. You receive 30 days off per year. If you like, you can simply buy up to 15 additional days off. Every 10 years, you receive an additional 10 days off as a loyalty bonus. 

Switzerland

It is important to us that you get rest and relaxation. You receive 25 days off per year. If you like, you can easily buy up to 15 additional days off. Every 10 years, you receive an additional 10 days off as a loyalty bonus. New fathers receive four weeks of parental leave (includes 2 weeks mandated by law). 

Do you need more time off for a longer personal project or a longer trip? BSI makes it possible  – with up to two months of unpaid leave per year. So: Do your thing!

Our offices in Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Munich provide a modern workplace that you always have access to. Of course, you also have the option to work from home. And, if you want to move, you can simply change your place of work to another office location. 

Switzerland 

Our offices in Baden, Baar, Bern, and Zurich provide a modern workplace that you always have access to. Of course, you also have the option to work from home. And, if you want to move, you can simply change your place of work to another office location. In addition, you have the opportunity to work at one of our German office locations for a deployment.

Our work week consists of 40 hours – but whose work takes exactly 40 hours? If you are on the plus side with your work hours, you can either take the same amount of time off or have your overtime hours paid out, with an additional 25% of overtime pay.

Meeting your customers in person is not only efficient but also strengthens mutual understanding. That’s why the time you spend on round-trip customer visits counts 100% as work time – whether you're traveling by train, plane, car, bike, or on foot.

If you often take public transportation to visit customers, we will provide you with a train pass (Bahncard) or pay for 10% of your personal monthly or annual pass. In addition, we fund the Deutschlandticket at 100%. If you drive to work, free parking is available at many of our offices.

With BSI, you have the opportunity to do this. You can take a workation for up to four weeks a year. Work and vacation all in one, so to speak.

We are a true network and as such are closely connected across all our offices – not only virtually, but also in real life: through our BSI Hub. We organize and hold the BSI Hub in always-changing beautiful locations, such as the Engadine or Sicily, and you can work there for one to two weeks a year, to connect with your colleagues and to be inspired by the change of scenery.

In addition, you can research your favorite topics in the BSI Lab, develop new gadgets, frameworks, or features there, and take us all forward with your innovations. We sponsor this endeavor with 10 days and 5,000 CHF a year. 

Let's do something together! A running group, weekly badminton games, board game nights … – it’s all up to you. Organize what you enjoy, and we'll support you with it.

Barcelona, Lake Aegeri, or Kiruna – every two years, the entire team embarks on the legendary BSI team trip with all the frills. Your life partners are cordially invited to take part in this grand event along with you.

We think it’s a good thing if you think about the future. Therefore, we provide a company pension plan for you (betriebliche Altersvorsorge; bAv). We will contribute 50 euros a month to your monthly pension contribution, plus 15% in addition to your own conversion amount.

To ensure that you are well taken care of in case of an accident, you will be enrolled in our group accident insurance at no charge. This insurance covers permanent injuries, not only from occupational accidents but also from accidents that happen outside of work.

To ensure that you are well taken care of in case of an accident, you will be included in our group accident insurance at no charge. This insurance provides worldwide protection and daily sick pay insurance. BSI will cover all premiums for these insurance policies.
