In-depth and very personal – your first steps at BSI

When you start at BSI, you may be new, but by no means are you going to be alone! Because we personally make sure with a great deal of commitment that you feel comfortable at BSI right from the beginning, get to know your team, and can start focusing on your projects.

Set-up!

Introductory support

First, you will get to know BSI: How we work together, how we are organized, what project you will start with, and where you can get the best lunch. For this, we assign a mentor to you, whom we also call “Götti” because of our Swiss roots. Your “Götti” will typically work in the same team as you and will support you through your entire training process at BSI.

Professional Introductory Week

To make sure that you get to know the common foundations of our work more deeply, we will invite you to attend a professional Introductory Week at one of our offices. Getting to know other BSI-lers is also an integral part of this time.

Technical Introductory Week

Particularly when it comes to technical roles such as Software Engineer or Cloud Engineer, there is a lot of specific expertise that you may not be acquainted with yet. We'll bring you up to speed to allow you to engage and integrate seamlessly.

On-the-job training and mentoring concept

The last thing we at BSI expect from you is that you will have no more questions after the first two weeks. Far from it: We always look forward to sharing knowledge and learning from each other. This is based on in-depth on-the-job training and close communication with your mentor, which includes three scheduled feedback sessions within the first six months. In these sessions, we not only want to answer your questions, but also pick up and pursue your ideas and suggestions. Because we can only continue to improve if we work together.
