Schwyzer Kantonalbank (SZBK) has been the leading financial institution in and for the Canton of Schwyz since 1890. With 22 branches, it is deeply rooted in the region. As part of a strategic initiative, the bank evaluated and defined its future CRM/CX system requirements. By implementing the BSI Customer Suite, SZBK is building the foundation for a unified marketing and sales platform designed to provide end-to-end support for its marketing and sales processes.
Data-driven market development from a single source
The evaluation focused on up-to-date, data-driven market engagement and a deeper integration of marketing and sales. The objective is to systematically cultivate high-quality leads while driving sustained improvements in conversion and upselling. The bank also streamlined its broad MarTech landscape and retired its event-management tool. With BSI’s software-as-a-service solution, Schwyzer Kantonalbank is adopting a digital experience platform that unifies marketing automation, lead nurturing, campaign management, and sales support into seamless, end-to-end processes, while reducing system complexity by consolidating multiple applications on a single central platform.
Streamlined, autonomous campaign management
Departments will be able to independently build, orchestrate, and continuously refine selections, campaigns, and journeys. This makes it possible to implement new requirements more rapidly and to scale successful use cases incrementally. “Our goal is to identify high-quality leads, qualify them through targeted journeys, and seamlessly hand them over to our client advisers for follow-up. This approach reflects our consistent commitment to prioritizing quality over quantity. For digital lead engagement, our focus lies on the marketing touchpoints across e-banking and mobile banking. And we complement them with the e-mail channel,” explains Michaela Ernst, Head of Digitalization & Services at Schwyzer Kantonalbank.
A phased rollout with a clear focus
In the first phase, SZKB is implementing the BSI CX module, with a dedicated focus on new-customer acquisition and upselling. The bank uses Finnova Core and the Advisor Workbench (AWB) as central components of its system landscape. Through the integration with Finnova, personalized teasers can be delivered to targeted audiences across both online banking and the mobile app. With the BSI Customer Suite, Schwyzer Kantonalbank is establishing the foundation for a state-of-the-art marketing and sales platform.
Continuous evolution based on the roadmap
Following the planned launch in the fourth quarter of 2026, the solution will be gradually expanded with additional functionalities in line with the joint roadmap. Daniel Scheiber, Executive Director Sales Banking at BSI Software, emphasizes: “We are excited to accompany Schwyzer Kantonalbank on its journey toward future-ready marketing automation. Together, we are laying the foundation for personalized customer experiences and a platform designed to continuously evolve with the bank’s needs.”
