Barmenia Versicherungen is one of the independent insurance groups in Germany. The group includes Barmenia Allgemeine Versicherungs-AG [General Insurance], Barmenia Krankenversicherung AG [Health Insurance] and Barmenia Lebensversicherung a. G. [Life Insurance]. With its approx. 3,800 employees, the company is one of the largest employers in Wuppertal.
We have implemented SRM to support standardization and ensure greater transparency in the processes we use to recruit new talent. Automating these processes allows our employees to focus on individualized communication with candidates and contractual arrangements.

By working with the Sales Recruitment Management (SRM) tool from BSI, Barmenia demonstrates how insurance companies can position themselves today with state-of-the-art recruitment technologies to attract the best agent talent for the future. The company’s goal is to standardize different HR processes at its various locations, safeguard its data and relieve HR of administrative activities.

Barmenia Versicherungen was looking for a solution that would allow it to incorporate more interactive elements and gamification mechanisms during their (online) events. The company now uses the BSI Event Interaction tool with live surveys, automated networking matching, applause-o-meters and personalized landing pages at their annual sales kick-off event with around 500 participants.
We want to know at any time, based on the SRM data management from BSI, where we are in the recruiting process and establish a central point of contact to manage our applicant relationships.
