BSI at the Eclipse Day Paris 2011
With its Eclipse Scout Project, BSI will attend the Eclipse Day Paris on November 8th and will demonstrate its framework in a presentation and at its exhibition booth.
The French speaking Eclipse Community will meet at the Eclipse Day Paris on November 8th and BSI Business Systems Integration AG will be in the thick of things with its “Eclipse Scout” project. At Stand B04, BSI will offer participants a hands-on experience with the latest version of Eclipse Scout and also an opportunity to meet and talk with the faces behind the open source project. Jérémie Bresson and Andreas Hoegger will also make a presentation on the possibilities of Eclipse Scout, which makes the development of business-critical client server applications easy and efficient.
The Eclipse Scout presentation will be made in French. You can find more information on the Eclipse Day Paris website under “Présentations”.
“I am really looking forward to the Eclipse Day Paris and to hearing what the French Eclipse community thinks about our project. The feedback that we receive at these Eclipse events is immensely valuable for our work,” noted Jérémie Bresson, Software Engineer and part of the Eclipse Scout team at BSI.
Scout was established by BSI around ten years ago as a development platform on a Java basis and continuously further developed since then. Scout serves as a central platform for BSI applications, such as BSI CRM, which now runs on 20,000 workstations in 60 countries and in 28 application languages. Modern and user-friendly business applications can be developed using Scout with very little effort. As an Eclipse Project, Scout has been an official component of the annual Eclipse Release Train since 2011.
