Datatrans, the leading Swiss payment service provider, is using BSI as its central CRM solution in sales, operations and marketing. Specialized in payment processing in online commerce, the company is thereby putting its customer focus to the test.

Datatrans is active across Europe as a specialist for Internet payments and mobile payment. The finance company has used a CRM solution in the past. However, it was heavily customized and could therefore not be kept up to date with the latest version in the long term. The technical possibilities were also limited. That is why Datatrans evaluated a new CRM solution which is capable of meeting the current requirements.

Datatrans learned about BSI CRM through recommendations from other financial services providers. They were convinced by the sophisticated CRM standard, as well as by BSI's corporate culture and philosophy.

After an evaluation phase of around nine months, the project phase ran from May to October 2017. The solution has been available to all employees since October 3, 2017. Datatrans is planning a further networking of BSI CRM with various peripheral systems this year, with the goal of being able to optimize and automate processes.

High level of automation

With the introduction of BSI CRM, Datatrans is laying the foundation for a technical basis that enables them to develop interfaces between different systems and to drive the automation of processes. The e-payment specialist would also like to better support existing processes and reduce manual activities.
Sales staff shall be able to profit from better data maintenance, since they have the possibility to evaluate the existing data in a structured manner in order to derive suitable marketing measures from it.
